讲座人介绍：

Robert Eckhart在俄亥俄州立大学任教超过20年，2013-2015年担任俄亥俄州立大学综合ESL课程执行主任，领导50名教师为数千名学生提供教学服务。他曾为美国本土学生和国际学生讲授写作和中级论文写作，为法律预科生讲授法律写作，为国际研究生、MBA学生、法学院硕士生、医疗中心博士后和研究人员提供英语沟通与写作教学。他有超过15年为中国著名大学提供英语能力提升的领导和实践经验。在俄亥俄州立大学，多年来他积极为中国留学生提供专业而贯通文化差异的服务，深受中国留学生喜爱。

讲座内容：

Cross-cultural communication is like a game and all games have rules. The way to be successful is to learn the rules of the game according to the target culture you'd like to communicate in. The Performed Culture Approach (PCA) to language teaching and learning offers a wonderful perspective for being a more effective communicator across different cultures. I will explain the PCA and offer you 8 tips for improving your communication.
