Paolo Gamba为意大利帕维亚大学电信系教授，国际知名遥感专家，IEEE Fellow，IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters副主编 (2009-2013任主编)，ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing编委，IEEE地球科学和遥感协会管理委员会 (IEEE GRSS AdCom) 成员、协会分会主席（2014-2016）、数据融合竞赛委员会主席、协会主席（2019-2020）。主要从事城市遥感、信号图像处理、无线调制解调器设计等领域的研究工作，在国际一流期刊发表论文一百三十余篇，先后担任十余次国际会议主席或领域主席。

讲座内容：

Urban remote sensing is the common denominator for all the activities carried out by the group of Prof. Gamba at the University of Pavia, In this told he will provide a few ideas about the algorithms that have been designed for urban remote sensing using multispectral, hyperspectral and SAR data and combinations of them. Additionally, results from a few applications for the information extracted via these methods will be presented.
